Parcisa and Central Lechera Asturiana move forward together towards more sustainable transport with the first self-supporting green steel tanker

| read 195 times

At Parcisa, we remain committed to innovation and sustainability in the transport sector. As a result of this commitment, we have collaborated with Grupo Central Lechera Asturiana (CLAS) in the manufacture of a self-supporting green steel tank from Outokumpu, incorporating additional sustainable elements.

This project, which falls within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflects both companies' shared commitment to climate neutrality by 2050 and to reducing the carbon footprint in the supply chain.

In the following video, Pilar Rodríguez Álvarez, Director of Supplies and Operations at Parcisa, and Estefanía Iglesias González, Director of Sustainability at CLAS, explain the details of this collaboration and the benefits of using more sustainable materials in the transport of food products.

We would like to thank the CLAS Group for placing their trust in us to move forward together towards a more sustainable future.
We would also like to thank Transporte Profesional magazine for the interview and for helping us to raise awareness of this initiative that promotes sustainability and innovation in transport.
